ABOUT ME

Experienced, Professional, Thorough

Sport was always a priority for me and all I can remember growing up was wanting to be a professional athlete and coach. I feel so blessed that I was given this opportunity and after graduating from Loughborough University in 2000 with a degree in Sports Science and Physical education with Mathematics I made the move into racing as a professional triathlete. Over the next 13 years I competed over all distances and formats within triathlon, I had some amazing coaches and mentors during this time and learnt so many lessons that I have taken away and applied with great success over the last 10 years of my coaching career.

In 2008 after finishing 22nd at the World 70.3 Championships I started to move away from racing full time and into coaching.

Helping other athletes achieve success has always been my passion and I see coaching as helping athletes realise their dreams, a very unique business to work in. I have worked with amazing athletes over the years and seen total novices to triathlon ascend to Kona qualifiers and I have taken professional athletes from mid field to the very top of the podium with Csoke Balasz from Hungary winning IM Korea and competing 2 times at Kona as a professional. Currently I am working with Michi Herlbauer of Austria who has now twice competed at Kona and has multiple ironman and 70.3 podium finishes under her belt, she went into the 2017 event ranked 11th in the World.

In 2012 I worked with Adrea Eskau of Germany and 2 amazing performances in the hand cycling events at the 2012 London Paralympic Games saw her bring home 2 Olympic Gold medals.
